This notice explains how magurosan.it processes the personal data of people who visit the site, ask for information or place an order, under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Cookies have their own page: the Cookie policy.

Version of 23 October 2026.

1. Who the controller is

Antares Trading S.r.l., Via Statale Sud 113, 64028 Silvi (TE), Italy, VAT no. 02112940677, which sells under the Maguro San brand.

For any question about personal data: info@antaresitalia.eu or certified email (PEC) antarestrading@pec.it.

2. What data we process

When you visit the site

  • Technical browsing data: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, date and time. We need them to run the site, protect it and fix errors (for example, pages not found).
  • Visit statistics: only if you give your consent do we use Google Analytics to learn, in aggregate form, how the site is used. Without consent we use no measurement tools.
  • Videos: the videos on the site are embedded from YouTube in “privacy-enhanced mode” (youtube-nocookie.com). The video starts only when you press play: before that, your browser does not connect to Google. When you start it, Google receives your IP address and YouTube may use its cookies (see the Cookie policy).

When you order

  • first and last name of the contact person, company name, VAT number, SDI code or PEC;
  • billing and delivery address, email, phone or WhatsApp;
  • preferred delivery day and time slot, notes for the courier;
  • products ordered, weights, amounts, order and shipping status.

You enter your card details in the payment provider’s form: we don’t see or store them. We only receive the outcome, the card network and the last digits of the card.

If you create an account or write to us

Access data for your account (email and password, stored in encrypted form), order history, and the content of the messages you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.

3. Why we process it and on what basis

  • Handling orders, deliveries, payments, invoices, complaints and your account: necessary for the contract with you or with the company you represent, or for steps requested before the contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR). For the data of the company’s contact person, the basis is our legitimate interest in managing the relationship (Art. 6.1.f).
  • Complying with legal obligations, in particular tax and accounting obligations, and food traceability rules (Art. 6.1.c).
  • Protecting the site and preventing payment fraud: our legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f).
  • Answering your requests for information: pre-contractual steps (Art. 6.1.b).
  • Telling you about products similar to those you have already bought, at the email address you gave us with your order: legitimate interest, within the limits of Article 130(4) of the Italian Privacy Code. You can say no already at checkout, with the dedicated box, and object at any time with the link in every message.
  • Visit statistics with Google Analytics: only with your consent (Art. 6.1.a), which you can withdraw at any time from the “Privacy preferences” link at the bottom of every page.

4. Do you have to give us your data?

To order, we need the data marked as required in the form: without it, we cannot deliver or issue the invoice. The rest is optional. Consent to statistics is optional and does not affect your ability to order.

5. Who receives the data

The data is processed by Antares Trading’s authorised staff and, as far as necessary, by providers acting as processors or as independent controllers:

  • website hosting: Netsons (servers in Italy)to be confirmed;
  • payments: WooPayments (Automattic) and Stripe, which process card data as independent controllers for payment and anti-fraud purposes;
  • shipping: the courier GLS (also through the Packlink platform), for name, address and delivery contact;
  • statistics and videos: Google (Analytics, with consent; YouTube);
  • management software and electronic invoicing: the provider of the management and invoicing software;
  • cookie consent management: iubenda;
  • accounting: our accountant; the Italian Revenue Agency through the Italian Interchange System (Sistema di Interscambio, SdI);
  • WhatsApp messages, if you write to us there: WhatsApp (Meta), with possible transfer of data to the United States;
  • website maintenance and communication: the technical providers and the marketing agency in charge, only as far as their work requires;
  • public authorities, when required by law.

We don’t sell data to anyone. The up-to-date list of processors can be requested using the contacts in section 1.

6. Data outside the European Union

Some providers (Google, Stripe, Automattic, Meta) may process data in the United States. The transfer is based on the EU–US adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) for certified providers, or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

7. How long we keep it

  • Orders, invoices and accounting documents: 10 years, as required by law (Art. 2220 of the Italian Civil Code).
  • Account: as long as the account is active; if you close it, we delete the data we are not required to keep by law.
  • Requests for information: the time needed to answer and, if they don’t become an order, no more than 24 months.
  • Messages about similar products: up to 24 months from your last purchase, or until you object.
  • Google Analytics statistics: for the period set in the tool, 14 months.
  • Technical browsing and security data: for the time necessary, normally no longer than 12 months, unless needed to investigate offences.

8. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, receive it in a readable format (portability) and object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15-22 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting the processing already carried out.

Write to the contacts in section 1: we reply within one month. If you believe the processing breaches the GDPR, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).

9. Automated decisions and minors

We don’t take decisions based solely on automated processing. Payment providers use automatic anti-fraud checks: if a payment is declined you can write to us and a person will review it. The site is aimed at professional operators and is not intended for people under 18.

10. Changes
